I'll release it when I release version 1.3. There are a few small fixes I'd like to make eventually.

I used my xbox bluetooth gamecontroller. I noticed you chose to use the dpad and not the stick. It would be nice if the player could use either. Nice first try :)
The colors of the original Game Boy combined with the peaceful beach atmosphere was really great meow!!!
And, The whale is lovely & cute!

Where in the game did it freeze?
at the start
Try clicking the window with the mouse to make it responsive. Then you should be able to use Z or Enter to start.
yeah tried all that, nothing going
Hmm… I'm not sure what's wrong. It works on my end.
